Tesla has made changes to Made-In-China Model 3 delivery from Q1 to Q2.

According to a tweet from a Twitter user, Ray4Telsa who follows closely model three deliveries in Giga Factory 3 Shanghai, all orders made after 15 Jan 2020 will be delivered in Q2.

Ray4 tesla went on to write, “This shows demand vastly outstrips supply as a result of price drop and subsidy uncertainty. I expect 2nd shift to be fully-added after CNY break.”

Giga Factory 3 now produces 28 Model3s/hour for 10 hours daily which maxes out to 1500 Model 3 weekly. A second shift is expected to be fully-added to double the output according to a follow-up tweet.
